Appeal for witnesses following fatal road traffic collision – Amersham

We are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in Amersham.  

At around 11.15pm yesterday, a collision between a grey Toyota Corolla and a pedestrian occurred on Whielden Lane, Winchmore Hill.  

Sadly, the pedestrian, a man in his forties died, at the scene.  

The man’s next of kin have been informed and are being offered support by specially trained officers.   

The driver of the Toyota did not sustain any injuries.  

No arrests have been made at this time. 

We are appealing for anyone with information or witnesses who may have been at the scene and have not yet spoken to us, to please get in touch. 

We also ask any drivers who were in the area at the time and have dashcam footage to review it, as it may contain important information about the collision or the moments leading up to it.
